Home School PE Program FAQ
This program is free to home school families within the Laramie County Community College service area.
We meet on Friday mornings with 3 separate classes. Class one meets from 9:00 – 9:30 a.m.. Class two meets from 9:30 – 10:10 a.m.. Class three meets from 10:10 – 10:50 AM. We meet in the Eastridge Facility located in the old Carey Jr. High building at 1780 E. Pershing Blvd., Cheyenne, WY.
Home school students progress through learning skills such as jumping, throwing, running, kicking, catching into using those skills in a variety of physical activity settings and finish with the ability to choose which activities they want to participate in for class three.

Yes, our students provide physical activity homework for the children to complete. Many times we try to develop homework that will provide opportunities for the child's family to be active together.
We ask for children to wear shorts or sweatpants, tennis shoes, shirt. No tank tops or revealing clothing. Additionally we encourage children to bring a water bottle with them.
Parents have multiple options. You are more than welcome to sit in the Multipurpose Gym and watch the PE class. You also can get involved in our adult workouts which are provided as a service to home school parents and employees of LCCC.
Students are grouped by age with Class One being students from 5 – 8 years old. This class meets from 9 AM to 9:30 a.m.. Class 2 is students 9 – 12 years old, and it meets from 9:30 – 10:10 a.m.. Class three is for students aged 13 and over. This class meets from 10:00 to 10:50 a.m..
