Business - Applied Management Program
What will I learn?
Are your sights set on managing a business or a department within an organization? The Applied Management program will help prepare you for the many facets of supervisory management. Students will learn the foundational skills in communication, entrepreneurship, management, and marketing necessary for supervisory management careers.
All business students are part of a cohort, a group who start their education together and have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities together. Students will have the opportunity to obtain credit while applying their knowledge as a part of an extensive internship program.
Associate of Applied Science
The Applied Management program combines core business and general education courses with specialized studies in entrepreneurship, personal selling, business planning, social and Internet marketing, and employee supervision. Through class work and the practical experience students receive, students will apply business related knowledge and skills, towards a management based career in an industry of their own choosing. This degree works well for students who have a passion for a specific industry, but a desire to expand that passion into a management role.
