Literary Connection is almost here!

CHEYENNE, WYO. — Literary Connection, the annual event connecting readers and writers, is just a few weeks away.

Presented by the LCCC Foundation, the event takes place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1, in the LCCC Center for Conferences & Institutes. Registration is $30 and includes lunch.

This year's featured authors are Craig Childs and Alexandra Fuller. Both authors will give presentations and be available for book signings.

A commentator for NPR's Morning Edition, Childs is a renowned author of more than a dozen critically acclaimed books, including Apocalyptic Planet. His work has appeared in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Men's Journal, and Outside. Using personal experience, he writes about the relationship between humans, animals, landscape, and time.

Fuller has written five books of non-fiction, including the multi-award winning debut, Don't Let's Go to the Dogs Tonight. She also wrote The Legend of Colton H Bryant, which told the story of a modern-day Wyoming cowboy working on that state's oil rigs. Fuller, who grew up in Rhodesia, has written for The New Yorker, Vogue, and is a frequent contributor to National Geographic Magazine.
