Flexible Industrial Technology Building

The new building will house several degree and certificate programs vital to workforce development. The building will provide the flexibility to adapt programs to meet the needs of Laramie County and the surrounding areas.

The 46,000 square foot building will cost LCCC about $16 million, which includes the cost of construction, architectural fees, furniture, permits and fees. The cost of the building comes in part from a bond initiative approved by Laramie County voters in 2013, and in part from state capital construction funding awarded by the Wyoming Legislature in 2014.

Projections show that Wyoming will be second in the nation when it comes to a workforce requiring an associate degree or certificate. The new building will allow the college to adapt to the needed training and for graduates to get into those careers that feed the local economy.

The Flexible Industrial Technology Building floor plan PDF document has detailed information on how space will be allocated in the new building.
