Health Care
The Student Health Clinic is committed to providing FREE health care services in a safe and healthy environment for all currently enrolled LCCC students. The Student Health Clinic is part of Counseling & Campus Wellness and is housed in the College Community Center, Room 129. LCCC students currently enrolled in and attending at least one LCCC credit-bearing course can receive FREE health care services at the Student Health Clinic staffed by residents from University of Wyoming Family Medicine.
What kind of health care is offered?
- Initial Assessment for minor health issues or illnesses and referral is made when necessary.
- Simple procedures such as treatment of urinary tract infections, sinus issues, cold cough, fever, strep throat, diabetes, hypertension, rash, minor cuts, mole checks, sprains and strains.
- Testing services such as Influenza, Strep throat, urinalysis, blood sugar and blood pressure.
- Pregnancy testing, oral birth control, contraception counseling, condoms available.
- Over the counter medications, oral/topical antihistamines and antacids available
- Basic first aid
- Sports Physicals
**STD testing and treatment is not available here, but referrals are provided.
Health Clinic Location & Hours
The clinic is located in the College Community Center, Room 129 in Cheyenne and is held on Tuesday evenings from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. during Fall and Spring semesters. The clinic is closed during Thanksgiving, Christmas Break, Spring Break, and Summer.

Health Clinic Appointments
Appointments are done on a walk-in basis during operational hours. It is not necessary to schedule an appointment. Bring your LCCC Student ID card
** Students are responsible for payment for filling prescriptions and picking up their own prescriptions off campus. Please search online for pharmacies that deliver in Cheyenne.
