Information Technology Program
The Information Technology Program is designed for students who wish to explore and prepare for a range of careers applying technology to business needs.
The Pathway Program is a great option for students who want a broad understanding of this area as well as those who are unsure which Information Technology program is best for them. Students can easily transfer into a specific Information Technology program after starting here.
What will I learn?
Students will learn about computer repair, network design and management, mobile and web applications, data visualization, telecommunications systems, and server management.
They will have opportunities to use the CyberRange/CyberCity simulated electronic warfare environment, Microsoft Datacenter Academy working lab, and NERDS skillset development and community outreach center.
Associate of Applied Science
The Information Technology Program is specifically designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in fields related to information technology. The curriculum is designed to challenge student growth in a progressive manner, while building skill sets that are relevant to today’s IT environments. Students will earn at least three credit diplomas and up to nine industry recognized certifications, while earning their AAS. Additional credit diplomas can be earned to further develop marketable skill sets as desired.
