gener8tor and The Business Studio at LCCC partner on startup accelerators
WYOMING — The Business Studio @ Laramie County Community College has partnered with gener8tor — a global venture firm and accelerator — to deliver startup accelerator programs aimed at launching and growing new startups in Laramie County and across Wyoming.
The Business Studio joins the successful partnership of gener8tor and Microsoft, which began in 2020. The Business Studio’s partnership contributes to the continuation of the gBETA Wyoming accelerator, as well as the addition of the ideation-stage gALPHA Wyoming program, which supports students and innovators in taking the first steps toward new business creation.
“The Business Studio at LCCC is thrilled to partner with gener8tor and Microsoft to support the delivery of high-quality programming that empowers our students and communities to create and grow new businesses,” said Lindsey Stutheit, Entrepreneurship & Innovation director at The Business Studio @ LCCC. “We have seen the positive impact that gener8tor accelerators have had in Wyoming, and we believe supporting gener8tor embodies the Wyoming Innovation Partnership and LCCC's goals to support the economic growth and strength of the state.”
The gBETA Wyoming Spring 2025 and gALPHA Wyoming Summer 2025 applications are open now at gener8tor.com/wyoming/gbeta.
gBETA Wyoming is a free seven-week accelerator program designed to set a path for startups to pursue investment opportunities. Five selected startups per cohort receive intensive concierge coaching and access to gener8tor's national network of mentors, customers, corporate partners and investors.
gALPHA Wyoming is a free, four-week venture-creation workshop designed to help entrepreneurially minded students and innovators create high-growth startups. Participants get product ideas, mentorship and one-on-one coaching to develop a high-growth startup company.
Both programs will conclude with public showcase events, with details to be announced.
“gener8tor is grateful and excited to partner with The Business Studio to continue delivering startup accelerators in Wyoming,” said Baylie Evans, gBETA managing director at gener8tor, who is based in Cheyenne. “These programs contribute to creating an environment where innovation can thrive and talent can grow right here in Wyoming.”
Since 2020, gBETA Wyoming alumni have raised almost $20M in growth financing and created 92 full-time and 62 part-time jobs.
