LCCC’s ACT Now! program offers free training for approved applicants
CHEYENNE, WYO. — If the time is right for you to change your career or start a new one, ACT NOW! (Achieve Career Training Now!) is currently accepting applications for free training and certifications in high-demand occupations.
In addition to its other trainings, this fall ACT Now! is launching two new programs:
- Introduction to High Tech Manufacturing
- Phlebotomy Technician
Trainings start in August, and most can be completed in six months or less. Additionally, qualified individuals may receive financial support for their training.
ACT Now! is part of Laramie County Community College's School of Outreach & Workforce Development, which offers career training outside the more traditional academic structure of the college. Students can obtain career training in such fields as medical, information technology, advance manufacturing, education, or business and finance.
