Candidate forum for LCCC Board of Trustees to take place Oct. 2

CHEYENNE, WYO. — Candidates for the Laramie County Community College Board of Trustees will have the opportunity to share their platforms and answer questions during a candidate forum hosted by Wingspan Student Media, the Cheyenne League of Women Voters and the Wyoming Tribune Eagle.

The forum will begin at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, in the ANB Bank Leadership Center in the Clay Pathfinder Building on the LCCC campus. Wingspan will broadcast the forum on Spectrum Cable Channel 191, at lcccwingspan.com and on YouTube.

Candidates who are confirmed to attend include incumbents Carol Merrell and Brenda Lyttle as well as Harmon "Bud" Davis II, Janine Thompson and Edwin Avery. There are three open spots up for election, to be filled from a pool of six candidates total.

Kristine Galloway, the Tribune Eagle's education reporter and a graduate of LCCC's mass media program, will team with Wingspan tri-editor Will Crawford to moderate the panel.
