Halladay Subaru gives $10,000 to LCCC Foundation for student scholarships

CHEYENNE, WYO. — A local business is committing to support students with their higher education.

Working with the LCCC Foundation, Halladay Subaru is giving scholarships of $2,000 to five Laramie County Community College students. This $10,000 gift will benefit students pursuing any field of study at LCCC's main campus in Cheyenne.

This scholarship opportunity is made possible with the support of Jim Casey and Tim Joannides, who are using this gift to also honor longtime Cheyenne philanthropist John Clay.

This money is provided as part of The Subaru Love Promise Community Commitment.

"Halladay Subaru is a great community partner, and we appreciate all they do to help the college and our students," said Lisa Murphy of the LCCC Foundation.

For the upcoming academic year, the Foundation expects to provide nearly half a million dollars in scholarships for LCCC students.
