Deaf Jazz Vocalist Mandy Harvey to perform at LCCC
Jazz artist Mandy Harvey has been lauded by critics, has three albums under her belt, and is recognized as one of the most engaging vocalists in the region. She also happens to be deaf.
Mandy Harvey will perform at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 27 in LCCC’s Health Sciences Building, Room 111/113. The concert is free and open to the public.
Although she lost her hearing as a college freshman, Mandy Harvey has made her mark as one of the region’s best jazz performers. Mandy lives in Denver and has performed across the country, including several performances at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
Though her hearing loss is profound, her timing, pitch and passion are perfect. Mandy performs across the country. Her most recent CD, “All of Me,” was released in 2014.
This event is presented by LCCC’s Office of Student Accommodation and Campus Activities
Board.
