LCCC athletic director hired by Temple University

Like many of his student athletes, LCCC’s first full-time athletics director, Pete Cautilli, is moving up to the next level.

Cautilli has accepted a job as the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Development at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

In his time at LCCC, Cautilli developed the renovation plans for the LCCC physical education facility and improved travel accommodations for team travel by hiring charter buses; and helped initiate the LCCC Sports Institute and youth camps.

Vice President of Student Services Judy Hay said she hopes to have a new director of athletics and campus recreation hired by April 1. The position is open and will soon be posted on the LCCC employment website.

Until Cautilli was hired, the athletic director position was a part-time assignment. Creating the full-time position allowed the director of athletics and campus recreation to focus on improving all aspects of athletics and recreation opportunities for students, employees and community members.
