Prerequisites and general education courses for the Health Sciences Programs.
Please note:
- Transfer equivalencies are not guaranteed. Transfer of credits is determined by evaluation of official transcripts by the LCCC Office of the Registrar.
- Completion of prerequisite coursework does not guarantee admission into a competitive Health Sciences Program.
- Students should speak with the Admissions Office or a Student Success Coach or a Pathway Coordinator for inquiries related to the admission process or transfer equivalencies from other states/institutions.
- Only college-level courses from regionally accredited institutions, passed with a grade of "C" or higher, are transferrable.
- Please reference the LCCC Catalog for additional information regarding graduation requirements.
- *HPR 1038 Intro to Medical Terminology will be accepted as a transfer for HLTK 1200 Medical Terminology prior to and through the 2023-2024 academic year. Starting in the 2024-2025 academic year and forward, HPR 1039 Medical Terminology will be required.
