We strive to build a stronger workforce and community for our region through outreach, continuing education, professional and workforce training, academic refreshers, personal interest classes and facility rentals.

FEATURED NOVEMBER TRAINING

Celebrating Differences | November 7, 2017 | 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. | $139

Are we more alike than we are different? This session will build on the self awareness of each participant and explore the positive impact of gaining understanding of diversity.

Celebrating Leadership | November 7, 2017 | 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. | $139

Reflection and action will be the focus of this session. Participants will develop a plan, make a commitment to themselves, and recognize the personal power they have gained to move forward in their careers.

Driving Change and Maintaining a Trustful Environment | November 8, 2017 | 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. | $139

Change is a fact of life. Using the concepts of appreciative inquiry, participants will gain insight and develop skills to assist them to introduce and implement change.

Building Productive and Effective Teams | November 8, 2017 | 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. | $139

At this session, participants experience the four stages of team development with hands-on activities. Discussion focuses on strengths, roles and responsibilities of team members.

Enhancing Project Management | November 9, 2017 | 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. | $139

This course encourages participants to identify their strengths and challenges as a project manager and to build skills that will assist them with planning and implementing results.

Solving Problems | November 9, 2017 | 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. | $139

Participants will explore a variety of methods to assist with problem solving as it relates to collaborative decision making and involving others for solutions.
