FEATURED LEADERSHIP TRAINING IN AUGUST!

Celebrating Differences August 22, 2017   8:00 a.m. - Noon

Are we more alike than we are different?  Leading and communicating in a diverse work environment will require using all of your leadership skills and more!  This session will build on the self-awareness of each participant and then explore the positive impact of gaining understanding of diversity (generations, socio-economic, and more) and using that knowledge to empower coworkers and customers.

Celebrating Leadership August 22, 2017 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Reflection and action will be the focus of this session.  Participants will be encouraged to identify the skills they have, the challenges they wish to address, and the strengths they will use to move forward as leaders.  They will develop a plan, make a commitment to themselves, and recognize the personal power they have gained to move forward in their careers and in life - while generating a positive impact on the lives of others!

Building Effective Teams  August 23, 2017   1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

How effectively can you work with others to communicate and solve problems?  What role do you play on the teams that you are a part of?  This session begins with a unique opportunity to experience the four stages of team development in a one-hour hands-on activity that requires participants to work together for a common goal: escape from a locked room!  Discussion will also focus on individual strengths, roles and responsibilities of team members, and components of a productive team.

Driving Change while Maintaining Trusting Environment August 23, 2017   8:00 a.m. - Noon

Change is a fact of life!  We all approach change and accept change differently; and as leaders we must learn to appreciate both the challenges and opportunities this can present.  Using the concept of AI (Appreciative Inquiry), participants will gain insight and develop skills to assist them when introducing and implementing change as it relates to establishing and maintaining a culture of trust.

Enhancing Project Management Skills August 24, 2017    8:00 a.m. - Noon

Is there a "method to your madness"?  Do you have a plan for accomplishing tasks?  This course encourages participants to identify their strengths and challenges as a project manager and to build skills that will assist them with planning and implementing the results of their efforts.

Solving Problems & Making Decisions August 24, 2017   1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

How many decisions did you make in a day?  What is your preferred method of solving problems?  Are you involving others in this process?  Participants will explore a variety of methods to assist with this aspect of leadership and identify their strengths and areas for growth as it relates to collaborative decision making and involving others when seeking solutions.
