Effectively Communicating | Sept. 19, 2017 | 8 a.m. - Noon | $99

It is crucial as an employee to be HEARD!  This workshop looks at both the spoken and written forms of workplace communication. Learn how to deal with speech anxiety, formulate clear communication, and be relevant to your audience in both public speaking and email communication.

Becoming Your Own Best Advocate | Sept. 19, 2017 | 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. | $139

In a professional atmosphere, it is vital to not only recognize your ability, but also self-advocate and create opportunities for yourself to earn promotions and achieve your goals. Learn to celebrate your strengths and minimize your weaknesses to decide what you want to be and GO FOR IT!

Enhancing Communication Through Self Awareness | Sept. 19, 2017 | 8 a.m. – Noon | $139

You have been talking since you were two, stringing together words to accomplish a goal.  It seems like common sense, but why are so many leaders misunderstood? Leading a variety of different kinds of people for the betterment of the organization can be a valuable skill. This workshop focuses on  developing the “people skills” needed to strengthen communication, motivate others, and lead effectively in a myriad of situations.

Working Through Conflict | Sept. 20, 2017  | 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. | $139

“I just want everyone to get along.” Differences in the workplace are inevitable and learning to disagree without being disagreeable is a skill that promotes a work environment where taking risks, appreciating differences, and creatively solving problems exists. This workshop focuses on creating an environment where conflict is used positively.

Understanding Yourself in the Workplace | Sept. 20, 2017 | 8 a.m. – Noon | $139

Why do I work more effectively with some people than others? How can I utilize my strengths as a leader and communicator to enhance my role in the workplace? Participates will complete the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and use the results to answer these and other questions to enhance their ability to be successful on the job.

Behaving Like a PRO | Sept. 21, 2017 | 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. | $139

What does a professional look like? Act like? Regardless of your title or position, you are a professional. This session offers opportunities to explore the qualities and upgrade the competencies that define the term “professional.” You will learn how to utilize your strengths and achieve your potential to succeed in your current role.   

Creating a Culture of Respect | Sept. 21, 2017 | 8 a.m. – Noon | $139

R.E.S.P.E.C.T. find out what that means to me! Respect is just as relevant today as it was in the sixties. We need to spend time understanding what that words means to each of us in order to create an environment where people want to come to work and provide stellar customer service and productivity.
