Are you intrigued by the process of making hand-crafted beers: the ingredients, the chemistry, the evaluation of recipes? LCCC’s Craft Brewing Program can not only prepare you to work in the brewing industry, but also help you connect with others in the field. The program is offered online with a remote internship requirement. This means you can learn where you live with breweries in your area.
What will I learn?
The program covers all aspects of the brewing process, from selecting quality ingredients to using standard brewing equipment and proper sanitation. Students will learn to how to develop and execute recipes for craft brews. They will learn about producing beer at different scales, from small pilot batches to commercial volumes. They will also learn about the operations of a craft brewery, from planning and marketing to ordering and inventory.
Credit Diploma
The Craft Brewing Program is designed to prepare the student for employment in the craft brewing industry as well as to meet the needs of those who want to advance their skills in craft brewing.

Graduates may find jobs as assistant brewers in small breweries, brew pubs and larger production facilities.
