Transitional Services

The Transitional Services Program is designed to help low-income, career and technical education students obtain the required education and training for economic self-sufficiency. The program will provide advising, counseling, new student orientation sessions, in-depth career information, as well as financial assistance with tuition, books, dependent care, transportation and other materials necessary for success in these career fields. Eligibility Requirements

  • Career and technical education students (associate of applied science degree or certificate programs)
  • Economically disadvantaged
  • 2.0 GPA
  • At least half time
  • Completed placement test
  • Completed Financial Aid application
  • Wyoming residents preferred

Ask about limited funding available through the Daniel’s Opportunity Scholarship for low income students who are adult learners, GED recipients, returning military, seeking EMT degree, foster care, or juvenile justice youth.

The Transitional Services Program is partially funded by the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Improvement Act of 2006 in cooperation with the Wyoming Department of Education.
