  • USA Jobs: Includes many tips and explanations on the unique processes of applying for government jobs. By creating an account, you can save searches for jobs and resources. There are also sections by population: Individuals with Disabilities, Veterans, Students and Recent Graduates, Senior Executives.
    • Idealist: Contains resources and information relating to non-profit organizations. You can search for organizations, jobs, internships, volunteer opportunities and individuals across the United States and internationally.
    • Simply Hired: This site is a webcrawler, similar to indeed.com. Simply Hired also allows for searching by industry category. You can also save job searches, sign up for job alerts and get e-mail updates based on preferences. Tip: Turn on your LinkedIn profile to gather information from your personal network as you are searching for jobs.

  • Movement Advancement Project: Shows which states/local governments include sexual orientation and/or gender identity or expression in their non-discrimination policies.
  • The Pipeline Project Internship Program: Is an organization dedicated to the leadership, advancement & program development strategies for people of color within the LGBT movement.
  • HRC Corporate Equality Index: The Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index is a list of companies that have LGBTQ-friendly policies.
  • Out for Undergrad: Network with leading industry professionals in business, marketing, tech and engineering at Out for Undergrad’s national conferences for LGBT students. All students selected to attend receive travel and lodging scholarships.
