Equine Science: Training
The Equine Training credit diploma prepares students for work in the field of equine training and management. In addition to gaining an overall understanding of the anatomy and physiology, nutrition needs, how to properly evaluate a horse, and develop a business plan, students will also gain invaluable horsemanship skills in a variety of disciplines, as well as, starting a colt under saddle. Students will gain knowledge and skills necessary to prepare them for their internship in their chosen field which will ultimately prepare them for work in the equine industry.
