For Wyoming, the increase is expected to be about 36 percent through 2016, approximately 15 jobs per year statewide. Many hygienists work part-time in multiple offices, particularly in rural locations.

Although pay varies, in Wyoming the average starting pay is $21-25/hour; in Colorado it is $30-34/hour; and in Nebraska it is $22-26/hour.
