Natural Science – Zoology Concentration

Associate of Science

The Natural Sciences includes a dynamic spectrum of fields. Recent advancements have led to expanded employment opportunities for natural scientists. A student who successfully completes this program achieves an Associate of Science degree with anticipated transfer to a four-year program. The Natural Science students gain access to multiple pathways for flexible transfer including: biology, chemistry, human biology, molecular biology, physiology, wildlife biology, and zoology. Through these pathways, students can prepare for careers in a variety of fields including: biochemistry, chemistry, conservation, ecology, microbiology, molecular biology, medicine, pharmacology, physical therapy, veterinary medicine, wildlife, etc. Students interested in physical sciences, life sciences and post-baccalaureate work may choose to follow a natural science pathway as recommended by your advisor.

Transfer Agreement with Four-Year Institution: Program Articulation

 LCCC has partnered with a four-year institution to articulate a way for students to transfer earned credits. This articulation is a formal agreement between LCCC and the institution. This agreement matches up coursework to make the transfer process smooth and to eliminate any duplication of courses. Any deviations from the prescribed course list will not articulate.
