Livestock Judging Team

The Livestock Judging Team, comprised of five individuals, compete in two distinct parts at events. The first portion of the livestock judging competition is actual evaluation. The second portion is oral reasons. Students hone their skills in evaluation and communication and become better stockman in the process.

The Livestock Judging team can have an unlimited amount of students and everyone has the opportunity to travel to large shows across the nation, but ultimately only five get to “mark the cards” for LCCC at completions.

Livestock Show Team

The Livestock Show Team is a group of competitive individuals with a passion for the livestock and showing industries. Members of the team are involved with every aspect of the show industry from halter breaking young calves to fitting and preparing for a show. Connections are made with local and nationally known producers, and skills are created that will last a lifetime. The show team has exhibited numerous winners at the NILE in Billings, Montana and the National Western Stock Show in Denver, Colorado. 

Scholarships are available for students interested in either team.
