The Golden Eagles women’s volleyball team played in the Starr Corporation Invite, hosted by the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls, Idaho, Sept. 7-8. LCCC went 0-4 in the tournament. The Golden Eagles were competitive against their nationally ranked opponents, but struggled to stay consistent with ball handling.

Match 4: LCCC vs. No. 6 nationally ranked Western Nebraska Community College
LCCC lost 19-25, 16-25, 15-25

The Golden Eagles (4-7 overall, 0-1 Region IX) will host Western Wyoming Community College on Sept. 14 at 7 p.m., and then host Central Wyoming College on Sept. 15 at 3 p.m.
