This year marks the 22nd annual Operation Back to School event. It’s a citywide program that provides school supplies and other needed items to school children, college students, and even entire families. But it doesn’t work without donations from generous individuals.
Operation Back to School accepts almost any items that can be used by students. Monetary donations also are accepted.
Checks may be made payable to Needs Inc., Attn. OBTS. Donations of school supplies can be dropped off at a number of local sites, including the Laramie County Community College library, administration building, bookstore, Student Success Center and Student Services area. Donations also may be delivered directly to Needs Inc. at 900 Central Ave. in Cheyenne.
This year, LCCC employees are asked to bring donations of school supplies to the LCCC picnic Friday, June 15.
