Volleyball climbs to 7th in national poll

Golden Eagles take out Eastern Wyoming College in four games.
The Laramie County Community College volleyball team has moved from ninth to seventh place in the nation in the latest NJCAA poll, the highest national ranking in school history.

On Sept. 28, LCCC defeated the Eastern Wyoming College Lancers in four games.

Sept. 28
Match: LCCC vs. Eastern Wyoming College. LCCC won 25-11, 25-16, 21-25, 25-16.
Maria Voitenko and Alona Tsyba each had 16 kills, Michelle Montico had 43 assists.

The Golden Eagles (18-2 overall, 4-1 Region IX) will host North Platte Community College at 5 p.m. Sept. 30 in the LCCC Gymnasium. All Golden Eagle athletic home events are free.
