This $49, one-day seminar discusses the three possible ways to get a book published – through traditional publishing, vanity publishing and self-publishing. Potential advantages, disadvantages and costs of each publishing method are discussed. This seminar is for anyone writing a book of fiction or nonfiction, personal experience, family history, children’s picture book, poetry, religious works, educational materials or other works.

Topics presented include Understanding Book Publishing, Contacting Publishers and Literary Agents, Writing Your Manuscript, Copyrighting Your Work, Calculating Costs, Marketing Your Book and Avoiding Book Publishing Scams. At the end of this seminar, participants should be able to make an informed decision of how to proceed to get a book published through one of the three possible book publishing methods. The information presented could save participants years of time and thousands of dollars in the process.
