In their last game of the regular season, the LCCC
women’s volleyball team defeated non-conference opponent United States Air Force Prep Huskies 3-1 on Oct. 25 in Colorado Springs, Colo. LCCC finished in third place in the conference. The Golden Eagles also added two more conference wins to their overall total as Central Wyoming College had to forfeit their wins for the use of an ineligible player.
The Golden Eagles (15-13 overall, 7-5 Region IX) head into the Region Tournament as the No. 3 seed and will face off with No. 6 seed Sheridan College (9-27 overall, 3-9 Region IX). The Region IX North Tournament will be hosted by Northwest College in Powell, Wyo., from Oct. 31-Nov. 3.

LCCC won 21-25, 25-16, 25-18, 25-13. Aleksandra Manolova hit for 10 kills on 23 attempts with two solo blocks and seven digs. McKenzie Long had 47 assists.
