Women’s soccer team puts up 9 against Western Wyo

Golden Eagles are ranked 6th in the nation.

The sixth-ranked Laramie County Community College women’s soccer team pounded conference foe Western Wyoming Community College 9-3 on Sept. 21.

LCCC got a wakeup call when the Mustangs scored the first goal in the second minute of play. The Golden Eagles went off after that and tallied seven goals before the end of the half. Three goals were scored by LCCC’s Shino Kunisawa. In the second half, LCCC added two more goals for a total of nine.
