Eagles lose on the road at Sheridan

Men's basketball team plays final home game of season on March 3.
 
The Laramie County Community College men’s basketball team lost 76-86 to the Sheridan College Generals on March 1, in Sheridan, Wyo.

The Golden Eagles dug themselves into a deep hole in the first half, falling behind 28-40. The LCCC offense came alive in the second half and scored 48 points, but couldn’t overcome the first-half deficit. Charles Cooks lead the Eagles in scoring with 19 points.

In their final regular season game, the Golden Eagles (14-15 overall, 9-4 south sub-region) will host Central Wyoming College (19-9 overall), on March 3 at 7 p.m. Saturday's game is sophomore night. All Golden Eagle athletic home games are free.
