Basketball team’s winning streak continues

Rodrigo Silva tallies 19 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks on the night.
 
The Golden Eagles men’s basketball team beat McCook Community College (11-9) 80-71 on Jan. 26 at LCCC, for their third win in a row.
 
The Golden Eagles started the first half trading baskets, and the lead, with the Indians. Toward the end of the first half, the Eagles gained some momentum and took a 37 to 29 lead into halftime. In the second half, the Golden Eagles' offense kicked in and at one point had built up an 18-point lead. Clock management, team defense and scoring crucial baskets gave the Eagles the win.
