Thursday, August 29, 2013
The ITS department will be replacing critical network equipment that was damaged during the power outage earlier this summer.

As the college is closed this weekend for the Labor Day holiday, the ITS department will be replacing critical network equipment that was damaged during the power outage earlier this summer. ITS will perform these replacements on Saturday, Aug. 31, to minimize the impact to students and employees.

Work will begin at 6 a.m. with expected completion by 3 p.m.

These repairs will disable all network (Internet, college websites, Colleague, web advisor, phones, wireless (including Resident Hall), Outlook email, Outlook webmail, printing, network drives and staffblade) operations for both Cheyenne and Laramie campuses. Internet connectivity in individual rooms in the residence hall will not be affected; however the common areas in the Residence Hall will be unavailable, including all wireless connections.

Students and employees can access D2L and/or EaglesEye from off campus. The information to access these systems is available below. Please take a moment to bookmark these links or forward this message to a personal email account so you have the information.
