Danielle Opp received first place for her paper on Alzheimer's disease.
Last week, twenty-four students and two instructors of Laramie County Community College’s radiography club attended the Association of Collegiate Educators in Radiologic Technology (ACERT) in Las Vegas.
At the conference, LCCC student Danielle Opp received first place in the student paper competition for her work, “PET: A New Look into Alzheimer’s Disease.” She also received a cash prize with this honor.
Additionally, LCCC instructor Starla Mason was installed as president of this national organization.
