This summer, the place for kids is Laramie County Community College.
Registration—including a new online option—for the 15 youth summer programs begins at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26. Classes and camps are expected to fill quickly, so interested families are strongly encouraged to register early for the best chance at obtaining the desired sessions.
There are three ways to register: online at youthprogram.lccc.wy.edu, by phone at 307.778.4327, or in person at the CCI Building on the LCCC campus, Room 109. Payment is due at the time of registration.
Programs and dates include:
- SEEK (Summer Educational Experiences for Kids): June 12-16 (ages 5-12); July 10-14 (ages 5-12)
- Fit Kids Camp: June 5-8 (ages 7-10); July 17-20 (ages 11-15)
- Golden Eagle Youth Sports Institute: June 19-23 (ages 6-9); June 26-30 (ages 10-12)
Additionally this year, there are a number of other special interest programs, including camps for cheerleading, culinary, electronics, performing arts, and more.
Complete information about all camps can be found here, including dates, costs, age ranges, and more.
Volunteers are also needed to help with SEEK weeks. Those volunteers earn a free class for a youth in their family.
