CHEYENNE, WYO. —Here's an opportunity to get a great seat for the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds Air Show, enjoy a free lunch, and even get a commemorative shirt!
All of this, and the satisfaction of knowing you helped thousands of people enjoy a great show, can be yours if you volunteer to help during the Thunderbirds air show and practice in July at Laramie County Community College.
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old and available during the following times:
- Monday, July 25 (11:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.): The practice day starts with a free barbecue for volunteers and their families, followed by the official briefing and the Thunderbirds' practice flight
- Wednesday, July 27 (6 a.m.-1 p.m.): Volunteers' main duties include monitoring the crowd, giving directions, and answering questions for spectators.
