LCCC Campus Safety and the National Weather Service have partnered to present two opportunities for training on the subject of “Winter Weather Safety and 2018 Severe Storm Review” on Oct. 25 from 10 - 11 a.m. and 6 - 7 p.m. in the Clay Pathfinder Building, ANB Bank Leadership Center.
These training sessions will be presented by Jared Allen, Senior Meteorologist with the Cheyenne office of NOAA/National Weather Service. Representatives from the Cheyenne/Laramie County Emergency Management Agency will also be present to discuss what their agency does to assist and protect the Cheyenne/Laramie County community during times of inclement weather.
Discussions will include information on the weather trends for this upcoming winter, winter weather safety, and a review of the tornado and hail storms of 2018.
These training sessions are free and no registration is required. Both sessions are open to all faculty, staff, and students, as well as to the general public.
