Student Government Elections - Sept. 11-15

Student Government is now accepting applications for those interested in running for elections to hold a senate position for the 2017-2018 academic year. Elections will take place Sept. 11-15. Students interested in running for a senate seat should have applications submitted by Sept. 7.

Senators on Student Government have the opportunity to advocate for students on issues that are affecting the student body. Student Government have opportunities to address and discuss student issues with administration to enact positive change on campus. Students gain valuable communication and leadership skills through their experiences interacting with the student body, staff, faculty, and administration on campus. They are also responsible for allocating student fee funds to clubs and organizations on campus each year. Student Government is comprised of elected student senators with equal representation for the four academic schools on campus.
