April is National Poetry Month, and Laramie County Community College is celebrating with Open Mic!
Free and open to the campus as well as the community, the program takes place from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, April 25, in the LCCC Student Lounge in the College Community Center.
In this celebration of language, participants are encouraged to read original works or the works of someone else, including poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, short plays/monologues, and even singers, songwriters, and musicians all welcome.
Audiences are welcome to drop by anytime during the program and stay as long as they like.
Additionally, there will be free pizza and cake, door prizes and a free photo booth for audiences to enjoy.
