The Office of Student Life will be sponsoring LCCC's 2nd annual Clothesline Project. The Clothesline Project is a program designed to allow victims of domestic and sexual violence to share their stories and for others to show their support for loved ones who have been affected by domestic and sexual violence.
For the program, victims and supporters are encouraged to decorate a t-shirt with a message or a story in an effort to share and encourage those affected by domestic and sexual violence. Those t-shirts will then be put on display as a visual representation to show how this problem has affected those within our very own community.
If you would like to share or to decorate a shirt we have set aside time today and tomorrow to do so. Below are the times:
- 1 p.m. - 4 p.m., Tuesday, March 29
- 10:30 a.m. - 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 30
The display of the t-shirts will be in the student lounge on April 6 and 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.
If you would like to participate and decorate a t-shirt please stop by and share! And make sure you make it down for the viewing.
