This LCCC Foundation concert will be held Tuesday, April 7 at Cheyenne Central High School Auditorium.
The musical duo Aurora Borealis presents a concert featuring the world’s two oldest instruments: the human voice and percussion. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Aurora Borealis was formed in 2004 by percussionist Stephen Solook and soprano Tiffany Du Mouchelle. They’ve premiered more than 25 duo and chamber works for voice and percussion, with performances across the globe from urban New York to the remote villages of Papua New Guinea. This program will also feature the world premiere of Ignota, a work from LCCC instrumental music instructor Bryan Christian, commissioned by and written for Aurora Borealis.
