Alcohol Awareness Week: Drunk Driving Course and More – Nov. 5

Students can participate in a drunk driving course and learn about the dangers of alcohol by attending events from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5 in the Student Lounge.

Laramie County Community College is sponsoring an Alcohol Awareness Week from Nov. 2-6, which will feature a variety of events.

Thursday’s events include:

  • Taking the pledge, brick wall and 1,800 dead t-shirts from 9 a.m.-4p.m. in the Student Lounge.
  • Drunk driving course from 10 a.m.-2p.m. in the parking lot east of the Ag building.
  • Mocktails – dangers of alcohol poisoning, and results of “Drive Alive” from Week of Welcome from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the Student Lounge.
