Mountain Living and Playing
The Albany County Campus of Laramie County Community College is nestled in the Laramie Valley between the Medicine Bow National Forest and the Snowy Mountain Range of southeastern Wyoming.
Our students are afforded the opportunity for amazing skiing, secluded hiking, world-class rock climbing and mountain biking, all in their own backyard.
Laramie is the home of the University of Wyoming, the only NCAA Division I college teams in the state. The University of Wyoming offers a wide variety of cultural events including concerts, plays, art exhibits and enrichment opportunities.
For those looking to expand their boundaries, Laramie is located only 45 minutes from the Wyoming state capital of Cheyenne, as well as the culturally rich city of Fort Collins, Colo. For those seeking big city life, Denver, Colo., is located approximately two hours away.
