Adult Basic Education

Offered at the Cheyenne Campus and the Albany County Campus

Individualized instruction is provided for students who want to upgrade their basic reading, writing and math skills. Instruction is either on a one-on-one basis or in a small group.

Each student in the will be given the TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education) at the beginning and end of each semester. This test allows us to develop an educational plan that best fits each individual student's needs. There are a variety of materials that can be assigned to help the student achieve their goals. These include:
  • individual study sessions with an instructor
  • small-group study sessions
  • subject assignments out of course books
  • online programs that can be completed from the student's home
